FEELING CHALLENGED

CLARITY IN THE NAME OF JESUS

Last night as I was falling asleep, I received instruction. I heard in my spirit that I was to lay hands on Jeff’s chest and speak “Clarity in the name of Jesus.” Naturally, I did it. (I have conditioned myself to obey with instruction!)

All night I was meditating on this word that the Lord had given me…

“Clarity in the name of Jesus”

“Clarity in the name of Jesus”

“Clarity in the name of Jesus”

“Clarity in the name of Jesus”

“Clarity in the name of Jesus”

Wow, “Clarity in the name of Jesus”, became revelation to me because ordinarily I would have prayed something like, “Allergies be gone in the name of Jesus, or head cold I rebuke you in the name of Jesus.” These ‘rebukes’ had already been done, and while Jeff had been getting better, the healing had not yet manifested.

The Lord showed me that speaking, “Clarity in the name of Jesus” was not being done.

Going to bed last night I had a hard time understanding the revelation without the written proof of the revelation found somewhere in the Bible. It is in my very DNA that if I am to understand revelations like “Clarity in the name of Jesus”, I must be able to see the word backed up in the Bible. I believe that great ideas become GOD ideas when you can substantiate them with the Word of God.

Graciously, He woke me up this morning with His Word,

“I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him.” Mark 11:23

He didn’t tell them to rebuke the mountains… He told them to tell the mountains to MOVE!

The scripture (Mark 11:23) that I woke up with, confirmed the revelation I received by showing me that when Jesus was speaking to his followers about moving mountains he didn’t tell them just to rebuke the mountains… He told them to tell the mountains to MOVE!

The identity of your obstacle must permanently change in order for your situation to change!

What the Bible says,

As Jesus was traveling, he became hungry; ‘And seeing a fig tree far off having leaves, he went to it, that he might find fruit on it: and when he came to it, and found nothing on it but leaves (it was not the fig season) Jesus answered (it) and said unto it,

“No man (will) eat fruit of thee hereafter forever.” His disciples heard this.

The next the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree had been dried up from the roots.

And Peter calling to remembrance said to him, “Master, behold, the fig tree which you cursedst is withered away.”

And Jesus answering said unto them, “Have faith in God, for verily I say to you, whoever shall say to this mountain ‘Be removed, and be cast into the sea'; and does not doubt in his heart, but believes what he says will come to pass; he will have whatever he says. Therefore I say to you, whatever you things desire, when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you shall have them.” Mark 11 (Paraphrased)

It is in my belief that Jesus’ cursing words of the fig tree is an example to us in how our words,in the name of Jesus, can change the very identity of things.

Before Christ spoke to the tree, it was a fruit yielding tree, after Christ spoke to the tree it became a tree that could NO LONGER produce fruit. Speaking “Clarity in the name of Jesus”, was a prayer demanding that the identity of Jeff’s aliment would change, in the name of Jesus. Just like the fig tree went from producing fruit (in its season) to never again producing fruit. (It withered up from the root and died because it no longer had purpose, or reason.) It is in my belief that Jesus’ cursing words of the fig tree is an example to us in how our words, in the name of Jesus, can change the very identity of things!

“By faith in the name of Jesus, this man whom you see and know was made strong. It is Jesus’ name and the faith that comes through him that has given this complete healing to him, as you can all see.” Acts 3:16

A prayer for today,

“Thank you Lord Jesus for your Word. Thank you for clarifying your Word to me exactly how life and death is in the power of the tongue. (Prov. 18:21) Thank you for showing me that if I want to see changes in my life, I must begin to speak that the identity of a thing must change “in the name of Jesus”, and that those changes must line up with the Word of God in order for a positive change to occur. My identity is in You, and I thank You for giving me the power to speak and have things change from the inside out.” – Amen

Some examples of identity change,

The paralytic,

“I tell you, get up, take your mat and go home.” He got up, took his mat and walked out in full view of them all. Matt 9

The woman who could not stop bleeding,

“Take heart, daughter,” he said, “your faith has healed you.” And the woman was healed from that moment. Mark 5

Abram,

No longer will you be called Abram; your name will be Abraham, for I have made you a father of many nations. Gen. 17:5

Jacob,

God said to him, “Your name is Jacob, but you will no longer be called Jacob; your name will be Israel.” So he named him Israel. (A nation and a community of nations will come from you, and kings will come from your body.) Gen. 35:10

Have faith in God, for verily I say to you, whoever shall say to this mountain, ‘Be removed, and be cast into the sea'; and does not doubt in his heart, but believes what he says will come to pass; he will have whatever he says.
